Your implants are placed and a fixed provisional bridge is attached to them in the same appointment. The bridge is designed in advance from your digital scans, so it's ready to fit the moment the implants are stable in the bone.
You then heal with fixed teeth in place. Once the implants have fully integrated — usually after three to four months — the definitive bridge is fitted for the long term.
