Traditional dental implants involve placing the titanium root, then waiting 3–6 months for it to fuse with the jawbone before the final crown or bridge is fitted. Same day implants compress that timeline — the implant is placed and a fixed temporary tooth (or full bridge) is attached to it on the same day.

Osseointegration is the process by which a titanium implant fuses with the surrounding jawbone, becoming as stable as a natural tooth root. With a same day approach we use carefully chosen implant systems, precise 3D planning and a temporary tooth that doesn't put excess load on the implant — protecting that healing process while you carry on with daily life.
Same day implants depend on having enough good-quality bone to support the implant immediately. Patients with significant bone loss may need a bone graft first, or a more traditional staged protocol.
